My Seventh Blog Post

Instagram notified me the other day that I’ve been posting for 59 weeks straight. I launched by content creation journey consistently when I dropped the promo version of my first for-profit song - Damaged (listen on Spotify, SoundCloud, or Apple Music) around April-May 2025. I began by following a rolling schedule starting on Instagram then going to Facebook, TikTok, and finishing on YouTube. Since then, IG and FB have become more integrated so whenever you make a post (reel or otherwise) on IG, it automatically posts to FB. Therefore, I no longer include FB in that schedule.

I believe that may attribute to why Damaged is still my highest streamed song on SoundCloud. I was holding shii down for awhile; however after 3-4 months of doing that I was noticing my energy was getting drained. I was having a challenging time keeping up with that schedule - recording new content, planning out a brand-new music release, coming up with new content ideas, AND recording new music was burning me out. It felt like I had to reconsider my strategy.

I released three songs in 2025. My main focus last year was working on getting comfortable creating content and developing a production calendar that I could stay consistent with. This year my cardinal focal point is to further develop, augment, and optimize that schedule and release more music more frequently.

Do you feel the PRESSURE?
