My First Blog Post

I’ve been goin’ through some thangs… ain’t we all?

Y’all ever heard of “concentrating one’s forces”? That was Sun Tzu. A couple days ago I was flippin’ through the pages of the Art of War once more. I am working well in search of a way to organize my energy and efforts. I’m not sure which is more challenging - actually setting up the schedule yourself or adhering to what you set forth.

I think it starts by creating an exhaustive list of everything that you reckon you enjoy doing in your life. Mang, even including things that you ain’t ever done yet but approximate you might have some fun doing. I don’t remember when I made this list, heck I barely even remember doing it; however I recently came across it again. I am sure that I could expand greatly on that list if I were to go into focused meditation and thought about it but after I read over it, I felt a deep sense of serenity and peace inside of me.

It was so fleeting. So barely perceptible that I don’t think I would have even noticed it had I not been in a terrible, deep-seated sense of emotional angst, pain, and hunger. Even after God-knows-how-long-ago I wrote this list, it resonated with me considerably. It was a list of 49 things, and even up-to-date, I would maybe only add 3-5 new things to the list that reverberates with me in the selfsame way.
